Park City Mountain Dwelling

The house, designed at Studio Rick Joy, is conceived as two elemental forms: a serpentine stone wall that organizes the core, and a gabled shou sugi ban shell that provides shelter. Their distinction is deliberate, a legible architectural dichotomy.
